Every child has the ability to succeed. In order for children to work at their ability level they need the support and encouragement of their teachers in the classroom. As an educator it is my job to set high expectations for every one of my students and show them that they are capable of achieving their goals. Due to the large range of ability level in each class, one of the most important aspects of the classroom is differentiated instruction. To allow for equal opportunity for all students I will teach to everyone; from the advanced students to the students with learning disabilities. The instruction in my classroom will address multiple learning styles so every student can learn.
I am looking to make a difference in the lives of the children who walk into my classroom. My goal is to build a relationship based on mutual respect and trust with each of my students. I will do this by getting to know my students and their interests and allowing my students to get to know me. This relationship will build a foundation to improve the education of my students. I want to be a support system for my students. I believe they can achieve their goals and surpass others expectations of them. My hope is that this positive relationship and support system built within my classroom community will help students to enjoy school and learning. I want my students to believe in themselves and their potential. With all of this students will be able to achieve their goals and learn to the best of their ability in the classsroom.
